THE FLIES - WALKING ON THE SAND


Nowadays when a new band comes onto the scene, they usually cream from the rooftops about themselves. But pretty much all we know about this band is from our interview with former Spiritualized man Sean. The press release says they won't release this on CD and they won't be playing live. The album is untitled and the rest is up to you to full in the gaps!

This short and simple single is very, very chilled but not much else. It never really goes anywhere from the introduction and by the time you do get into it it's finished. There is something about this song that makes me want to hear more though. Let's hope the album offers that 'bit more'.
