If you were wondering why it took so long for Radiohead to get their new album completed, then Smash Music can reveal one more reason today.
It turns out that Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke spent two weeks working on a building site last summer, a key time in the bands writing and recording.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, Thom Yorke said: "It's not that f**king difficult (being in a band). I went and worked on my friend's building site for two weeks over the summer, smashing bricks and stuff. That was difficult. But it was nice smashing stuff up."
Thankfully, this summer the band will be on a UK tour, so no time to play brickie Mr Yorke.
Radiohead will play:
Dublin, Malahide Castle - June 6/7 London, Victoria Park – 24/25 Glasgow, Green – 27 Manchester, LCCC - 29
