Enter Shikari drummer Rob Rolfe has bee denied a visa for the band's forthcoming tour dates in America.

Enter Shikari have enlisted Fell Silent drummer 'Noddy' for the shows next week.

Rolfe made the following announcement through entershikari.com:

"In the past i've been a bit of a twat and got myself arrested. i wouldn't really care about this but the fact is it has made it very difficult for me to get an american visa (they're particularly strict with not letting any old ruffian work their country). in fact, i'm not even allowed to enter the country on holiday. we will be re applying for the visa in the summer after we've built up a case to show i'm a good citizen and am not a threat to their national security. this does mean that i won't be joining the boys in the south by southwest or bamboozle trips. but don't worry yanks, the other three will still be there and i've chosen a good friend of mine to stand in for me on the drums. he's a good guy and an awesome drummer and i know he'll do me proud. his name is noddy and plays for a band called fell silent (you should all check them out)."

"Well, there it is. it really sucks and i absolutely hate the fact that i'm not going to be there but i'm the dick that got myself into this problem so i just have to bite the bullet. i hope i'll be back by the end of the year, it's certainly not the last you've seen of me."
