Download Festival Reveal More Bands For 2009 Festival

With a line up that’s already boasting several exclusive appearances, including Faith No More, ZZ Top and Limp Bizkit, Download Festival have announced 8 more bands that will play this year.

Opeth, Meshuggah from Sweden, Dir En Grey from Japan, Five Finger Death Punch, You Me at Six, Steadlur, Lawnmower Death and ex-Guns ‘N’ Roses bassist Duff Mckagan.

To make travel easier, Download organisers have brought the BIG GREEN COACH COMPANY on board to offer those travelling to this year’s Download a way to not only reduce their carbon footprint but also a great way of making new friends on the way to Donington! This year Big Green Coach are operating a number of routes from all across the UK direct into Download. The festival atmosphere starts the moment festival-goers hop on board to be taken directly to Donington, completely hassle free and without the expense of parking or petrol. A full coach takes 1 mile of traffic off the country lanes from around Donington, helping to reduce the carbon footprint of the festival. For more information please visit www.downloadfestival.co.uk.

Taking place between 12-14 June 2009, tickets for Download Festival 2009 are on sale now from www.downloadfestival.co.uk.
