London based quintet The Feeling are starting to make a few quiet melodic rumblings on the UK scene. With a support slot with the Charlatans on their upcoming tour, a potential performance at the industry-fest SXSW Festival this year and this, their first proper single release they could see success come their way.

Sewn’ is a gentle and radio friendly number that has Athlete stamped all over it. The slightly off key vocals sit snugly over the strummed acoustic guitar and tinkling keyboard sounds, which make it a nice and easy hum along track.

The keyboard gradually build during the chorus as singer Dan Gillespie Sells sings “give me the song and I’ll sing it like I mean it” and “you’ve got my heart in a headlock”. The band formed to perform a series of covers shows in the French Alps, so you can tell by this that there is a certain confidence about their sound.

The harmonious backing vocals, Dan’s sing-a-long “na na na na na na” lyrics and the catchy melody will ensure that The Feeling won't remain on the outskirts for too long.
