Fall Out Boy have never really been my cup off tea so to speak, but their latest album 'Infinity On High', is just about the worst album i've come across so far this year.
So, when i sat down to review their new single 'This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race', i pretty much knew exactly what i was going to hit the page. This kind of pop-rock just grates at my major organs and is so so terrible, it makes you feel physically sick.
There's just about every cliche you could imagine on here too. The 'oooh, oooh oooh', the 'crowd involver' bridge and loads of other cringworthy, nauseous crap. Not to mention that the main lyric "This ain't a scene, it's a good damn arms race", sounds so much more like "This ain't a scene, its a god damn arse face".
Someone get me a bucket, and someone please make Fall Out Boy go away. FOREVER!
