The Thirst - Ready To Move

With no prior knowledge of The Thirst, I listen to this with fully open ears, and it's nearly very, very good.

With drums and a guitar line that seem like their trying to go twice the speed of everything else, it's actually very listenable if a bit confusing. Just imagine the Arctic Monkeys doing everything very fast, without the accents and you'd be close, but the best thing is, it's actually quite good.

B-Side, On the Brink shows a little more depth to The Thirst, but it still all seems a little rushed both in terms of the production, and the actual speed of the song. It is almost certainly intentional, but both of the songs on this single are at a speed that the vocals and intstruments sound like they're having trouble keeping up with the song.

That said, this is a strong single, on both the A or B sides. Give it a listen!
