Dark, slow and immensely brooding. Black Ghosts come to us via Basildon’s finest export Depeche Mode.
The deep booming bass drum things across as the sinister synthesiser creates a dramatic and murky backdrop. It takes its time to build up momentum but this only adds to the cinematic electro-operatic results.
The creepy hush of “tell me your desire, if my hands were round your throat, would you tell me what I need to know” only adds the songs menace.
With a debut album due early next year and November live dates, its worth investigating.
