The Subways - Girls & Boys
After a couple of successful years in the limelight, this Welwyn Garden City three-piece disappeared off to write and record the follow-up to their debut album, 'Young For Eternity'. The first glimpse we get of their new work is in the form of 'Girls & Boys' and my god it's a huge song. Crashing drums, thumping bass guitar and massive guitar arpeggios that sound like they're being played through Jimmy Page's rig all make this their heaviest and most energetic track to date. I've had a sneaky peek at a few other tracks on the new album and I can say that 'All or Nothing' is looking like one hell of an album. 'Girls & Boys' is certainly one hell of a single anyway.
