I’ve always had a soft spot for Brigade. With such aggressive but at the same time, pop songs, their potential has always been obvious.
New single ‘Pilot’ is again another classic Brigade track. Big riffs, great vocals and hooks here there and everywhere seems to be their recipe of choice and it works fantastically here.
I particularly like the simple bridge and verses where the whole band batter out flat riffs. Sounds strange, is impossible to explain but go listen to it and you’ll see what I mean.
The album comes out next week (May 12), and is titled ‘Come Morning We Fight’. We’ve not heard it yet but you can bet you’re life on it that it’ll be awesome.
