I don’t really ‘get’ These New Puritans. I know a lot of folk are banging on about them being the next big thing, but I just don’t believe the hype.
New single ‘Swords of Truth’ is a strange combination of Pendulum, Jamie T, and not much else. There are some good riffs in places, but it is such a confused sound that you get little opportunity to get into it.
‘Swords of Truth’ hasn’t changed my mind on this band. They’re still over-hyped, and you’re far better spending your time searching for other news bands than settling with this bunch.
